Texas (America)- Plano Collin Lions Club received twelve boxes of toys (estimated over 1000 toys) from the Dollar Tree, Irving Square shopping Ctr, under Operation Homefront Project, Event HTD 2018. Out of the twelve boxes, eight boxes were given to MD2 Leo Chairperson and Team Captain for Operation Homefront to distribute to the children of South Texas. Club’s Charter Members and Advisors Lion Chuda Mani (Kumar) Siwakoti and Lion Ram Thapa jointly handed over the remaining 4 boxes of toys to the representative of Samaritan Inn for distribution to children in need.

 

Club’s Charter President Lion Prakash Gautam, Secretary Lion Binay Paudyal, Director Lion Homa Nath Pokhrel, Charter Member Lion Sunita Sharma Gautam, Charter Member Lion Lalit Gupta, Charter Member Lion Saurabh Bhattarai and a few others were present in the short handover program, held in the Samaritan Inn in McKinney on November 14, 2018. PCNLC team told Himalayan Khabar that their club is so happy to be a part of this project and to support the children in need.

 

PCNLC was chartered on October 18, 2018 and the club will be hosting its charter night on January 19, 2019 in Roma Palace, Garland.
